A Forest family firm since 1984

Four generations of the family in the trade, from Shaun's grandad to his son John-Paul.

S A Saunders has been building in and around the Forest of Dean since 1984.

The firm is run by Shaun Saunders, who works alongside his son John-Paul. Building goes back through the family: Shaun's dad and uncles were builders, and so was his grandad before them.

We're based in Bream and keep our work within about 30 miles of home, from the villages around the Forest out to Chepstow, Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye and Gloucester. It means we're never far from a job once it's started.

We do all general building and carpentry work, including the old Forest stone houses that need a different approach to a modern build.
