Privacy policy
How we use the details you give us through this website.
Who we are
This website is run by S.A. Saunders Building Contractors, Coleford Road, Bream, Lydney, Gloucestershire GL15 6ES. We decide how the information you give us is used, which makes us the “controller” under UK data protection law. To ask us anything about it, ring or WhatsApp Shaun Saunders on 07889 676692.
Enquiries
When you send the contact form we collect your name and phone number, your message and, if you give them, your email address and where the job is. We use them only to reply to you and to talk about the work. The form reaches us as an email, sent through our email service, Resend. We don't keep your enquiry anywhere else. It stays in our inbox for as long as it is useful for the job, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Keeping spam out
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is sending it. Turnstile looks at details such as your browser and IP address to do that, and we don't see or keep them.
When something goes wrong
If the site hits an error, a report goes to Sentry so we can fix it. We have set it up to leave out cookies, request details and anything you typed, though Sentry may record your approximate location.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies of its own, and we ask before using any others. If you choose Accept on the banner, we load Google Analytics, which counts visits and shows which pages are used, and Microsoft Clarity, which shows how visitors move around the pages (clicks and scrolling) through heatmaps and recordings. Both set cookies. We also note when someone taps the phone or WhatsApp link or sends the contact form. If you choose Decline, none of this loads.
You can change your mind at any time. Cookies already set stay until they expire or you clear them in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. Contact us using the number above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
