Two timber-framed dormers being built into the roof of a white house, with scaffolding across the front under a blue sky

Carpenters in the Forest of Dean

Carpentry is the first word in our name, and most of our jobs have some in them.

Roof timbers, dormers, stud walls and framed openings, decks and pergolas: if it's built in timber, inside the house or out, it's work we do.

On older houses that often means working with what's already there. Walls are rarely straight and openings need framing out properly before anything new can go in, so we take the time to get the structure right first.

All our services

Examples of what we do

  • Roof framing and dormers
  • Stud walls and framing out new doorways
  • Opening up ceilings and walls to the timbers behind
  • Timber cladding and window frames
  • Arched openings formed in timber
  • Decks and timber pergolas

These are just some examples. We do all general building and carpentry.
